Privacy policy

This is a courtesy translation. The French version is the official one, and it prevails if the two differ.
What we collect
When you fill in the quote form, we collect your name, email, phone number, municipality and the description of the place to be cleaned. Nothing else through this form.
We never ask for a social insurance number, date of birth, banking details or a copy of any identity document through this site.
Why we collect it
Solely to prepare your quote and to contact you about it. This information serves no other purpose, is not sold, and is not passed to third parties for commercial purposes. If you have accepted the “Advertising and measurement” category, Meta only learns that a request was sent from your browser, never what it contains.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as we need to answer it and follow up reasonably. If it does not lead to a service, we delete it. If a contract is agreed, the information needed is kept for the duration of the business relationship and the accounting and tax obligations that follow it.
If you write to us to work with us
If you write to us on WhatsApp or at recrutement@maisonpropre.ca to work with us, including when we are not recruiting, we collect what you choose to send us, along with the number or address you write from and, on WhatsApp, your profile name. We use it to consider your application and to be able to contact you again if a need arises later. Please do not send a social insurance number or banking information at this stage. By writing to us, you consent to your information being used in this way.
If we do not retain your application, we keep your email and our WhatsApp conversation for 24 months, then delete them. That period runs from our reply or, if we did not reply, from your last message, whether or not we are recruiting at the time. If we retain your application, the information needed is added to your file and kept for the duration of our collaboration and the legal obligations that follow it. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms, Inc., which processes your messages outside Québec, notably in the United States, under its own rules; our email is also hosted outside Québec.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for access to the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is inaccurate, and to have it deleted. We respond within thirty days of your request.
Cookies, advertising and measurement
By default, this site loads no advertising or measurement tools. Until you click “Accept” in the “Advertising and measurement” notice, no request is made to any third party during your visit: even the fonts are served from our own servers. Declining does not stop you from using the site.
If you accept, we load the pixel of Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). We use it to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work and to show them to people likely to be interested.
The pixel then sends Meta the pages you view on this site, the fact that you sent a quote request or clicked one of the ways to reach us, and technical data from your browser: IP address, device and browser type, language, the page you came from. It places the “_fbp” cookie on your device and, if you arrived from an ad, “_fbc”. We do not send Meta your name, email or phone number. If you are logged in to Facebook or Instagram, Meta may link this data to your account.
Meta processes this information outside Québec, notably in the United States, and keeps it under its own rules, which we do not control. Meta's privacy policy.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: the “Manage my preferences” button, here or at the bottom of every page. The pixel then stops loading and we delete the “_fbp” and “_fbc” cookies our site had placed. Information Meta has already received is in Meta's hands: to access it or have it deleted, contact Meta as well. Your choice itself is kept in your browser; it is not sent to us.
Draft kept on your device
While you fill in the quote form, your browser keeps a draft of your answers, including your name, email and phone if you have already entered them. This stops you losing everything if you close the tab by accident.
That draft stays on your device: it is not sent to us and we have no access to it. It is deleted automatically as soon as your request is sent. You can also remove it yourself by clearing your browser's site data. Your browser also keeps your light or dark theme preference, so it does not have to ask again on each visit.
